Our Story
Tech Javelin is owned and operated by Christopher Schmidt, a technology and security executive with over 20 years experience helping technology startups build, grow, and be successful. After spending over 2 decades in the industry a common pattern was identified. Startups struggle with balancing technology budgets between building their product and building their internal capabilities to operationalize their technology processes and procedures. When they work in highly regulated industries like aerospace, defense, medical technology, finance technology, or many others they have to contend with complex requirements from prospects and clients and compliance certification.
The cybersecurity industry has exploded with products and offerings claiming to solve every problem and building internal teams to help build internal programs is infeasible for most startups who may not have the expertise on their leadership teams and the budget to recruit and keep talent to drive efforts in a cut-throat and aggressive job market.
